I am the quintessential New England WASP. My father’s Tory ancestors fled to Canada during the American Revolution and my mother traces her lineage back to a cabin boy on the Mayflower.  I am retired after a career in journalism, international organisations and public relations. Despite my grumbling about the difficulties of travel, my French husband and I now divide our time between France, Morocco, and the United States, with various trips to other destinations. This blog offers my impressions of the places I live in and visit.

    • Thanks Ann — have just arrived in Marrakech. I drove half way and Jean Marie the other half. I was a little slimmer in that photo, taken in Death Valley if you can believe it…

  1. A retired Dutch photographer and art teacher might pay you a visit in february. You have an adress or so? We plan to go to Sidi Ifni and Guelmim – you seem nice people to share a laugh with.
